Bristol Man's Mercedes Simply Leaves Road
Barrington police and rescue responded last Thursday afternoon to a car simply driving off Wampanoag Trail into some trees.
A Bristol man learned a lesson last week about keeping his eyes on the road while driving. The man was heading south on the Wampanoag Trail about 3 pm on Thursday, Feb. 21, near Kyle Street, according to Barrington Police. The next thing he knew, he told officers, he was in a grove of trees off the road after apparently diverting his attention from the roadway. The man said he was not hurt. He refused medical treatment from Barrington EMTs. His 2007 Mercedes was wedged up against a tree after it left the road. It was towed to a repair shop. There was no estimate of damage.
