Maria C. Rego, 77, of Barden Lane, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013. She was the wife of the late Jose C. Rego. Born in Soa Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joa and Maria (Moniz) DeCosta Lopes. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren. Joseph Scolaro, 92, a lifelong resident of Bristol passed away on Jan. 11, 2013. He was the husband of the late Adele (Dubiel) Scolaro and son of the late John and Santina (Pante) Scolaro. Mr. Scolaro was employed by Carr-Full Flex for many years before retiring. He was also a WW II Navy veteran, serving for five years and later a Merchant Marine for three years as well as an avid farmer at heart.
