Catherine Zipf, Neighbor

As a professional architectural historian, I have over ten years experience in higher education, cultural resource management, and historic preservation.  My work has been supported by notable institutions like the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation.  Now available in a paperback version, my book, Professional Pursuits:  Women and the American Arts and Crafts Movement, was named Outstanding Academic Book by Choice Magazine.  My current book project, Making a Home of Her Own, chronicles the more than 100 women who built houses in Newport, RI.  To learn more, check out my website, www.catherinezipf.com.
