Kristen Quinn, Neighbor

I grew up in Bristol, moving here just before I started kindergarten. When I was a kid I loved drawing and reading, but I was also a girl who was really good at math and science, so when I went away to college I studied engineering.  With two engineering degrees under my belt and a (miserable) job in the corporate world, life suddenly handed me a pile of lemons.  Luckily I was raised by a mom with a fondness for old sayings, so I made lemonade.  I left the corporate world and went to art school.  In September I created a website, The Arts Room, designed to strengthen the connections among families and schools and the local arts community.  These days you can find me reading, writing, and raising my children with my husband John here in Bristol.
