Serving Alcohol to Minors, Dunkin' Leakin'

Bristol Police reported the following arrests and incidents for Aug. 29 through Sept 3:

Arrested:

  • Ian Walsh, of Wolcott, CT, on charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a breath test, on Aug. 30 at about 2:30 a.m. He is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court on Sept. 11.
  • Dale Harden, of Middletown, on a charge of disorderly conduct on Aug. 30 at about 7:30 p.m. Police reports indicate that witnesses made numerous calls alleging that Harden had been yelling at two small children at Quito's Shellfish Company on Thames Street.
  • Evan Kelley and Michael DeRoma, both of Bristol, on one count each of serving alcohol to minors, on Aug. 31 at about 12:30 a.m. Officers responded to Wood Street for a report of a loud house party. Cited for underage drinking were John O'Neill of Rolidale, MA; Charles Woods, of Demarest, NJ; and Camden Mahoney, of Bristol.
  • Joshua Toste, of 537 Main St., Warren, on a domestic assault charge, on Sept. 1 at about 4:45 a.m. after officers responded to Bourse Street for a call about an apparent domestic disturbance. He is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court on Sept. 11.

Other reports:

  • An officer retrieved a used hypodermic needle from an area on Mt. Hope Avenue on Aug. 29 at about 3:20 p.m.
  • A resident of Sherry Avenue told police he believed he'd received a scam phone call on Aug. 30 at about 2:30 p.m.
  • An officer responded to another call about a possible phone scam from a resident on Greenway Drive. After checking with the company, officers determined that it was a legitimate collection call.
  • Officers responded to the Dunkin' Donuts shop on Gooding Avenue on Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. for a report of the roof leaking and creating a hazard. Police reports show the owner of the building was notified.
  • A RIPTA bus passenger told police on Sept. 1 at about 2:20 p.m. that a wallet and cell phone had been stolen from the bus.
