Bristol 4th of July Celebration, June 27 to July 2

The parade and fireworks may be next week in Bristol as part of this year's 4th of July celebration — but there are still plenty of events leading up to the big finale.
Beginning June 27 Rockwell Amusements sets up at the Bristol Town Common with rides, food, and other attractions.
And the annual 4th of July Ball is set for Saturday night, June 29, starting at 5:30 pm with a cocktail hour in the Herreshoff Tent on Hope Street
The annual Concert Series also continues this week, including classic rock, doo-wop, and a rockin' local favorite.
Here are the concerts scheduled for June 27 through July 2:

  • June 27: D&D at 6:30 pm; Scarab [Journey tribute band] at 7:45 pm
  • June 28: The Barley Hoppers at 6:30 pm; Lee Lewis and the Doo-Wop All-Stars at 7:45 pm
  • June 29: Steve Smith and the Nakeds at 7 pm
  • June 30: Changes in Latitudes at 7 pm
  • July 1: Bobby Carlson and the Stones River Band at 6:30; Sixwire at 7:45 pm
  • July 2: Rendition at 6:30; The Hit Men at 7:45 pm.
